My Little Dream Box

April 16, 2015

Admittedly I've taken a little bit of time off this week due to having craft fairs back to back, and a London trip to come on April 26th to Crafty Fox Market in Brixton.

I've spent most of the week enjoying the sunshine, getting inspired by the river, jotting down notes in the evening in my little courtyard. I was woken up this morning by my post lady and yes! it was another My Little Box to brighten up my day, I get one every month for £14.95 and it is well worth it!

(£14.95 per month at www.mylittlebox.co.uk)

Oh my! What absolutely gorgous packaging. I always keep the boxes in tact as they really are beautiful, and great for storing nail polish and make up in afterwards.

This month I had lots of little bits to tempt me, all wrapped up too so I had no idea what I was getting!

I decided to start with this rather curious cloud package, all sewn up around the edge. I love it when you really can't tell what's inside a gift, and I had absolutely no idea what to expect! I was so happy when I saw it was a cute lucky charm necklace with "bonne étoile" stamped on it. (It mean's "lucky star).

I've vowed to wear this around my neck for my first London fair as secretly I'm a little bit nervous! (Necklace by Delphine Pariente, £20 from mylittlecorner.fr)

I then had to have a look in this box, I was really hoping it was going to be a stamping kit and I was right- I've been looking all over for "Made with love" or "Handmade by ....." stamps or stickers and this is just perfect for me. It has a little reel that turns like a librarian's stamp, but instead of numbers it has cute sayings, stars and flowers too :) (Stamp kit worth £8 from mylittlecorner.fr)

Every month My Little Box sends cosmetics in an adorable jute pouch, I have to admit I'm not a huge cosmetics fan, but I always find at least one item which I know I'll use in one of these pouches.

Inside was My Little Beauty's Repairing Hair Mask for dry ends (worth £7 from mylittlecorner.fr), Wild Cow Invigorating Lotion (£18 for 100ml from Cowshed), and "Loved" lip balm by Lou Lesage (worth £8).

I have to say, my hair has been looking a little frazzled recently, plus I have a date coming up so I'll certainly be rescuing my hair with this! I do have a lot of body lotions, but a lot of them are floral. This one by Cowshed is zingy, packed full of lemongrass and might be my answer for a good pick-me-up in the morning.

My favourite item has to be the tinted red lipbalm. Those who know me well know I love 1940/50's style and always done Dita Von Teese style catflicks and a mole as my eye make-up, but coupling it with startling red lipstick in the daytime can sometimes look too dressy- this is the perfect alternative for me!

Every month I get a magazine in My Little Box, but not this month! This month was a huge beauty inspired fold out poster! Both sides were really inspiring and I might just do some of the nail art for date night!

Last but not least was this cute sign for me to hang in my workspace and keep me inspired. Cheers Walt Disney for the kind words of wisdom!

So all in all, I got a great haul this time, some beautiful and rather useful products in the most gorgeously gorgeous box. I can't wait for next month's box!
